AcceptDirect Thermal Labels
AM Labels produce direct thermal labels in a range of different sizes on 19mm, 25mm, 38mm and 76mm cores. More sizes and printed/coloured labels are available on request so please do not hesitate to contact us for your free quotation and samples.
Direct Thermal Label Materials:
- Direct thermal – thermal paper labels for short to medium term use with limited resistance to scuffing and moisture. They will also discolour if exposed to direct sunlight (UV). Contact should be avoided with oil and fats. These are ideal for shipping labels due to their cheap pricing.
- Top coated direct thermal – a paper label with a protective coating on the surface of the label to provide greater resistance to scuffing and moisture and has better resistance to UV. It also provides more resistance to chemicals and grease etc.
- Direct Thermal Polypropylene – this is our most durable direct thermal label material. It is a synthetic label with a top-coat, providing a higher level of protection against scuffing and moisture, with a higher level of durability than paper labels.
