This printer is very similar to its thermal-transfer B-EX4T2 equivalent but this model is direct thermal only. The looks, the print-head technology and the technical specifications all remain the same – it’s still a robust, fastest-in-class, reliable printing machine but is more ideal for a range of applications. Whilst being direct-thermal only, you can see lowered costs in ownership with a print head that will last up to 50km. Combine this with the now surplus to requirement ribbons, you’ll be saving a lot of money – of course if this printer fits the application that you need. The B-EX4D2 has emulation capabilities which enable it to easily fit into your range of Zebra Printers – especially with the flat head technology that TEC are growing towards.
