The Datalogic Gryphon 4500 Series is a line of premium handheld scanners from Datalogic. The Gryphon 4500 is an omnidirectional imager that provides snappy reading performance on all common 1D and 2D codes. The megapixel sensor provides top reading performance on any code type with a much greater Depth of Field and Field of View than previous models. The warm white illumination is less stressful on the eyes and helps to get a better read on barcodes on coloured labels. You can also opt to use the imager in its adjustable multi-position cradle. This provides much more flexibility so that you can read codes without even needing to pick up the scanner, the cradle also charges the device so there is no need to worry about battery life.

This scanner also utilises a unique 4-dot aiming pattern with a centre cross which allows users to easily distinguish the reading zone, guaranteeing a perfect aim every scan. Selecting a singular barcode from multiple items can be tricky, but with the Gryphon 4500 scanner all it takes is the press of a trigger. The red centre cross is easy to aim on any surface and in any environment. Similar to other Datalogic scanners, the Green Spot technology provides instant feedback on the read of the code. This is a scanner capable of reading 1D, 2D, postal, stacked, digimarc and dotcodes – all in one device.

Cleaning has never been easier, the Gryphon 4500 is made from chemical-resistant materials, allowing you to freely clean and sanitise your scanners without worrying about damaging the product.
