This model has been designed for an array of applications where accurate and highspeed scanning is required to maximize productivity. The 1991iSR features a durable design that can withstand falls from 1 meter (3.3ft) with daily drops and tumbles from workstations or waist height. A best-in-class 7,000 tumble specification ensures Granit scanners are ready to work long-term in demanding environments.

The Honeywell Granit XP 1991iSR are designed with a small, deeply recessed, impact-resistant and scratch proof window to prevent failures with field feedback which is often a high frequency point for scanning devices in the industrial environment. This acts as a critical sealing component which ensures environmental contaminants like dust and moisture do not enter the case and degrade scanning performance or cause irreparable damage. The Honeywell Granit solution is engineered with IP67 sealing which remains intact, even under high levels of stress in a harsh environment.
