Rugged and built to last

The ZQ511 may be small, but it is tough. It’s designed to be able to withstand plenty of dropping, shocking, and tumbling from 1M heights, making the ZQ511 more durable than most mobile printers. Its IP54 sealing also protects it from solid and liquid ingress, making it safe for use in all sorts of industries. If IP54 isn’t enough for you, the ZQ511 exoskeleton case accessory increases the standard drop testing from 6.6’ to 10’ as well as improving the IP rating to IP65. Overall, the ZQ511 is built to last, and even features new over-moulding which helps increase the longevity of your printer – making sure it’s looking good for it’s time in use.

Receipts, RFID tags, labels and linerless

This printer is optimised for fast and reliable receipt printing in 3” (72mm) and 4” (104mm) print widths. The ZQ511 is also able to print a variety of labels including UHF RFID tags, useful for tracking. Zebra has a comprehensive suite of RFID devices, and the ZQ511 fits right at home within that line-up, allowing you to print and encode RFID labels on the go.

Optimise your printing

A feature that is key to the effectiveness of any printer is print quality and performance. A new printhead, print mechanism, processor and added memory ensures that the ZQ511 delivers consistent outstanding print quality and performance. The printer is also capable of Bluetooth communication, allowing you to keep employees on task by sending print jobs to the printer via one channel, whilst another channel carries out device management.

You can also boost print speeds using the “draft mode” feature, used mainly for text-only printing. Optimise the printer’s battery charge using Power Smart Print Technology, which delivers the power required for the highest-quality printing. Experience consistently sharp print-quality even in extreme temperatures, with the new enhanced temperature compensation.

Conserve battery life

This mobile printer uses a high-capacity 3250 mAh PowerPrecision+ battery to keep the device going throughout any shift. The printer enters sleep mode when not in use, which conserves battery life. It automatically wakes up when a print job is sent, meaning its always ready to be used even if it is in sleep mode.

Stay connected

The ZQ511 has support for 802/11ac Wi-Fi and all the latest security protocols, with the addition of Bluetooth 4.1 Classic and Low Energy. Your employees can rely on fast and secure connections and can even opt to use the dual radio to operate 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 at the same time for increased connectivity.
