Bixolon’s XL5-40 is a 4-inch Linerless Desktop Label Printer which features an ergonomic clamshell design which includes economical linerless labelling function, allowing the printing and cutting of various lengths of paper. This printer is suitable for a range of industries such as Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, and Healthcare. The XL5-40 offers strong data processing and print speeds of up to 6 ips (152mm/sec), with a 64MB SDRAM-DDR2 and 128MB Flash.

The XL5-40 features a full-width auto cutter, as well as a taken sensor which notifies you when a label passes the sensor. This printer is very reliable, featuring a Specialised Paper Path, Guillotine Cutting System and Anti-Curl support and optional LED or LCD display.

Supporting multiple connectivity options, the XL5-40 is equipped with Dual USB 2.0 ports and a USB Host as standard, with the option for Dual-WLAN, Dual-Bluetooth, Serial or Ethernet capabilities. Twin Function™ allows you to duplicate existing printer settings and data to upload it to another printer via the USB Host port. The XL5-40 is also compatible with a variety of programming languages such as SLCS™, BPL-Z™ and BPL-E™. The printer also comes with comprehensive firmware and software options, including Bixolon’s XPM™ and XCM™ web-based printer management and Simple Network Management Protocol. XL5-40 is also compatible with label design software including Bixolon’s Label Artist II™ and BarTender®.
