The Honeywell 1962g scanner can support multiple power sources and comes available with a battery-free supercapacitor or standard lithium-ion battery and both power options are also available in contactless orientations. The battery-free technology operates using supercapacitors which can achieve a full charge in less than four minutes via the USB Port (under 60 seconds when using a powered USB port or external wall adapter). The 1962g-BF model can provide at least 450 scans per charge and is ideally suited to a variety of applications such as self-checkout or as a secondary scanner to a bioptic scanner.
