The EDA52 is Honeywell’s next-generation ScanPal mobile computer, featuring a Qualcomm SnapDragon octa-core 2.0GHz processor and extensive wireless connectivity via NFC, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1 and 4G LTE communication.

The handheld computer includes a 5.5-inch Gorilla Glass touch screen, paired with an ergonomic industrial design to ensure maximum clarity and comfort. The device is lightweight and slim, meaning users can easily operate it with one hand and carry it in their pockets without the inconvenience of discomfort.

The EDA52 also features a 13-megapixel rear camera which allows users to capture high-resolution images for documentation purposes, additionally the 5-megapixel front camera allows users to engage in video calls. Honeywell’s powerful S0703 scan engine is also present in the EDA52 which enables fast reading of even damaged or incomplete barcodes.

The mobile computer features rugged housing, sealed at a rating of IP67. This means that the EDA52 can operate in a variety of harsh environments. A 4500mAh battery allows for prolonged use without running out of battery mid-shift. The battery also supports quick charge 3.0 and can be easily removed and swapped out for another one if needs must.

The EDA52 supports one nano SIM and one e-SIM simultaneously. e-SIMs enable the simple management of subscriptions to different mobile network carriers, allowing easy switching between carriers without the need to always have multiple SIM cards.

This mobile computer is built on Android 11, however it can be upgraded to Android 13 which minimises maintenance issues and ensures long-term feature support. It is also an AER (Android Enterprise Recommended) device, meaning Android themselves consider the EDA52 a great choice for your business.
