Building on the successful TC52-HC, the TC52X Healthcare gives workers a much superior mobile voice and data experience with much more processing power, a larger screen, swappable battery, high-quality camera and Android operating system. There is even the option to track and locate devices that have been misplaced or lost – even when the battery is dead, or the device is powered off. With all of this plus Wi-Fi 6 and double the memory, the TC52x Healthcare is the clear step up from previous models.

The 13 Megapixel rear camera has Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), allowing it to capture high-fidelity photos and videos to document wound condition, patient progress etc. Software advancements have allowed the camera to deliver more accurate colour and sharper, crisper images, even in low light. The user interface has also been updated to feature more user-friendly icons, making it that bit more intuitive. Additionally, the front facing 5 Megapixel camera enables Telehealth consultations, better patient monitoring and better collaboration with colleagues.

The TC52X Healthcare also allows out-of-the-box capture of UDI barcodes. Caregivers can instantly check to see if medical equipment has been recalled before use, which helps protect patient safety. You can also capture multiple barcodes on a single label with one button press, with the Multi-Barcode Scanning pre-installed Mobility DNA application.

Get max screen space, resolution, and readability with the 5-inch Full HD display. Text and graphics are much sharper with this display, allowing you to see images much clearer. Additionally, the 600 nit display is easy to read in any light. The touchscreen even works when wet and with a gloved finger or stylus.

You can also capture barcodes in virtually any condition with Zebra’s PRZM Intelligent Imaging and the integrated scanner’s global shutter. This technology allows you to scan barcodes that are on curved or uneven surfaces like medicine vials and bags. Furthermore, the white illumination LEDs and green aimer are ideal in healthcare environments, making it an easy task to scan barcodes on colour-coded specimen trays and biopsy cassettes.

The TC52x Healthcare is also always ready for tough shifts thanks to its rugged design. Even if you drop it or if the device gets wet, the TC52x-HC has you covered.
