The TC5X Series of mobile computers builds upon the foundations set by the TC52 and TC57 rugged mobile computers. The TC52ax is a Wi-Fi only device equipped with the next generation Wi-Fi 6, a new scanner option with intelligent focusing, double the memory and the new Workstation Connect solution; allowing the TC52ax to function as a workstation and mobile computer at the same time. The TC5X Series is a fantastic line of mobile computers, fully ruggedised and redefined.

The TC52ax mobile computer is completely backwards compatible with all of the TC52 accessories, allowing you to cost-effectively upgrade without the need of buying all new accessories.

This device features an integrated Bluetooth beacon and support for Device Tracking, which allows users to easily locate lost or misplaced devices even when it is turned off or the battery is dead.

The TC52ax features a PowerPrecision+ high-capacity battery that delivers up to 14 hours of power, which would be plenty of charge even for long shifts. The battery also has a two-minute Warm Swap mode allowing you to swap the battery without even switching off the device. On top of this, fast charging batteries are fully charged and ready to go quicker than ever.

Available on all of the TC5X models, the SE4720 scan engine delivers a very simple point-and-shoot scan that is effective up to 60cm away, along with easy capture of large barcodes at a close range. Available specifically in the TC52ax is the SE5500 Advanced Range Scan Engine with IntelliFocus™ technology, allows workers to capture barcodes that are over 40ft away – this is ideal for dark work environments. The green laser for aiming is up to seven times more visible than a red laser, and instead of being a simple dot it forms an aiming pattern that spreads out over several feet.

The 5-inch display fully utilises the Full HD resolution, allowing you to see information larger and clearer than ever before. Additionally, the multi-touch display panel is easy to use and works when wet, with a gloved finger or stylus. The screen is also easy to read in bright environments, even in direct sunlight.

In situations when workers need a larger display, the TC52ax has the Workstation Connect complimentary software. This software allows the display of the TC52ax to be connected to a larger monitor, complete with a mouse and keyboard and any other optional accessory you need. This gives workers the true workstation experience, users can resize windows, open multiple apps and can switch between workstation and mobile computer on the fly.
