Description

DTM poly flat pouches have been designed specifically for personalised printing and packaging in small runs for food and non-food applications. The pouches have a velvety finish, are lightweight and space-saving, which optimises the storage and transportation costs. As a DTM hybrid media it can be used with both printing technologies: inkjet and dry toner. They are suitable for printing with dry toner electrographic label printers with external single feed, such as DTM CX86e, and usual inkjet printers (pigment or dye based) with single feed.

Product Usage

The pouches have excellent sealing properties with high sealing strength and perform as super barrier against water vapour, oxygen, aromas, mineral oils and light. The high resistance to tearing, traction, punctures, etc makes them durable and robust. Proper testing in the final application environment is recommended especially when used near water or chemicals. As with all pressure sensitive materials, this product should be tested thoroughly under end-user conditions to ensure it will meet the requirements of the specific application.

Shelf Time

One year when stored away from sunlight and heat, in a dark, dry place at a temperature of 10°C and 30°C with a relative humidity of 20 – 70%. Prolonged storage at higher temperatures and humidity levels will shorten the shelf life.
