The Gryphon I GBT4400 2D scanner incorporates highly advanced reading technology with the ability to detect the natural actions of the operator, producing a user-friendly experience all while maintaining industry leading performance.

The Gryphon GBT4400 2D reader is designed with Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology built in, this enables the scanner to effortlessly and intuitively transition from its handheld mode whenever the device is picked up or into its stand mode when inserted into the provided holder. This works to eliminate the need to scan a code or to rely on a mechanical switch to make this change. The two-position base station provides the flexibility to use the scanner in presentation or stand mode while it’s charging. The GBT4400 also includes Datalogic’s custom designed ‘Green Spot’ technology for a streamlined read confirmation by placing a green spot directly on the code. With Bluetooth® wireless technology, the reader can transmit data to the host through its base station as well as to any commercial or embedded Bluetooth v2.0 compliant device.

With 1D and 2D functionality built into the device, the GPT4400 utilises an imager to quickly capture data from a wide variety of angles and surfaces, even if the barcode itself has been faded due to heavy use or simply age. The GPT4400 uses best in class algorithms to effectively and efficiently decode the image, granting excellent reading reliability, without compromising performance. This makes it ideal for standard barcoding, event ticketing, couponing, customer account creation, to name a few.
