Rapid Speed After recent tests AM Labels has discovered the blistering speed of this fantastic new Memjet colour label printer.  At speeds of up to 18 meters per minute on a 216 mm width, the L-801 produces vibrant and clear full colour prints at a maximum of 1600dpi resolution. New technology One main hallmark of the design behind the new Memjet technology in the L-801, is the 216mm wide static print head which contain 74,000 jets that shoot millions of ink droplets through it every second, resulting on what we call ‘waterfall technology’. Diverse printing With the ability to print on demand with total flexibility, the printer is ideal for both long and short print runs with no loss in performance. The L-801 is available to print on several materials; these include gloss, semi-gloss, matte and transparent labels. The printer is also able to print these mentioned materials on several different settings; these include Roll to Roll, Roll to Cut and Print & Hold (non-peel). The Afinia produces label with dimensions, 50.8mm (2”) – 216mm (8.5”) in width with a maximum length of 203.2mm or continuous print length of 1016mm. In terms of thickness, the L-801 is able to print labels of 0.1mm up to 0.3mm. Performance Points
