The mobile computer is highly flexible and can be used remotely when users are out in the field. The EC55 comes complete with Zebra’s Mobility DNA, an extensive suite of software that improves ease of use for the end user, in addition to providing advanced device security. The Android™ 10 operating system guarantees effortless data capture and ensures device management is less time consuming and costly. Furthermore, the EC55 benefits from a Device Tracker, helping users to locate the mobile computer if lost or stolen, even when powered down.

The EC55 can support businesses operating in a wide range of industries, including retail, hospitality and healthcare, and is ideal for various applications such as shipping and receiving, event verification, meal delivery, ID check and courier/delivery. The mobile computer features an extremely efficient battery, which can provide up to ten hours of use without charge with the standard battery, or up to 13 hours of power with the optional extended battery.
