The SATO WS212 Desktop Label Printer is designed to offer a compact and efficient solution to direct thermal label printing. With a 300 dpi resolution, the WS212 delivers a powerful performance for environments in which high quality two inch labels are required on demand. The WS212 benefits from a disinfectant-ready, anti-microbial plastic casing, making it ideal for use in the healthcare sector where hygiene and patient safety are paramount. Unlike many of its counterparts, the WS212 can support the production of both patient ID wristbands and inpatient labels with ease.

The WS212 benefits from fast print speeds of up to 5 ips, ensuring labels are printed quickly and accurately to maximise efficiency. These best-in-class speeds are paired with an adjustable sensor allowing for the production of a variety of hospital and laboratory-based labels including blood collection labels, injection labels and drug administration labels.

In addition to offering increased functionality and an easy-to-operate design, the WS212 benefits from a clam shell design with a wide open cover for effortless media loading. What’s more, the WS212 maximises ease of use via the inclusion of enhanced setting tools, with the additional option to control and configure remotely via a web browser.

The compact and lightweight design of the SATO WS212 is ideal for use in busy hospital environments where space and efficiency is paramount, as well as ensuring ease of transportation. Not only this, the WS212 features two LED lights for indicative error diagnosis, maximising simplicity and ease of use.

The WS212 can be effortlessly integrated with all existing HIS/EMR systems via the printer’s standard USB and Ethernet interfaces, as well as further benefitting from Cerner accreditation.
